Lego Halloween

On October 20th we headed out to Mall of America. They transform the park at MOA into a spooky fun place to trick or treat and there is a costume contest too!

So we took blue Lego and signed up for the fun!

CARSON WON!

First he won his preliminary round First Place where he received a t-shirt, a pass to underwater world and a pass to mini golf, plus entry into the final round later in the evening.

In the final round there were 12 contests that had won out of about 120. Each child said their name and who or what they were and did a demonstration if their costume required it (the bee buzzed, the singers could sing, etc.) Carson said his name and told that he was  "a Lego looking for another Lego so they could build something"

HE WON THE GRAND PRIZE! A $100 Mall of America gift card.

He was thrilled and beyond excited when we went to the Lego store and he got to pick out the biggest box on the shelf. He spent over 7 hours today building the ship and harbor.

Happy Halloween!

We went to early church since Carson was up. At 10:30am he started building.

Done!

At 6pm he was done! He built pretty much non-stop for over 7 hours!

And then he played!

Up early today to play before school.

Just climb up on the table to do it better!

661 pieces all by himself. He's very proud!
