Bringing Dayne Home

We met Carrie, Ed and Dayne on Thursday, March 20th. We spent that night in the Montevideo Hospital and watched a spring snow storm fill the courtyard out our window with fresh, heavy, wet snow! The next morning we got to spend more time with Ed, Carrie and her family and Christy, the Social Worker with Bethany Christian Services. After Dayne was released we set out in the snow for Ivanhoe.

The day before my mom and my nephew Chad met us in Montevideo and took Carson back with them to Ivanhoe. We were going there to pick him up. Due to the storm that was hitting the Minneapolis area, the fact that Earl was not feeling well and it was Easter weekend we spent the night in Ivanhoe. My mom helped me with Dayne that night so Earl could get some rest and hopefully get better and Saturday we celebrated Easter with the Veire's before heading home. The cousins and Aunts and Uncles were excited to meet baby Dayne.
